Verifactu and declaration of compliance
How Facturaz meets the rules for invoicing software
The system
Facturaz is an invoicing system produced by Facturaz S.L. (NIF B22962112), Calle Barques 2, Planta 2, 46002 Valencia, Spain. It meets Royal Decree 1007/2023 and Order HAC/1177/2024 and guarantees the integrity, preservation, accessibility, legibility, traceability and immutability of the invoice records.
Two modes
- With Verifactu turned off, the default: Facturaz makes a record of every invoice, links it to the previous one, signs it on the business's behalf with the qualified electronic seal of Facturaz S.L. and keeps it. Nothing is sent to the tax agency. Every invoice carries its tax QR code.
- With Verifactu turned on: every invoice is sent to the tax agency when it is issued, through the remission service of Bilbabit S.L. Once on, Verifactu stays on.
Access for the tax agency
If the Spanish tax agency asks, Facturaz S.L. gives it each business's invoice and event records and lets it download or copy them, as the law requires.
